We love the Black Mountain area, especially the Scenic byway, Highway 9, where the cottage is located. While traveling up and down the curvy highway, whether on motorcycles or in the car, this back road cruise makes you feel like you’re on vacation all year round. Whether it’s for a dinner down at Lake Lure or a drive over to Hendersonville through the Hickory Nut Gorge the scenery of Western North Carolina is such a treat. There are so many miles of hiking trails, biking trails, and paved roads to enjoy the beauty of the area that you could vacation here many times and not see it all. We love people, love the mountians and would be glad to be part of your experience here at Black Mountain and are happy to share this beautiful place with our guests.
